Treatment, in brief

What treatment here covers

Fixed braces come in several types. For metal braces, the RM6,000 fee covers the whole case: fitting, every adjustment, scaling, any extractions needed, rebonding a loose bracket, braces removal, and the retainer. Ceramic, self-ligating, lingual and gold braces are priced at the examination.

Braces types and daily care: braces page. Full price list, with Payment Plan A and B (instalments from RM150 per visit): pricing page.

Braces treatment is not appropriate for every patient. Whether it is suitable, and which appliance is used, depends on a clinical assessment of your teeth, gums and bite.

Local questions

Questions people from these areas ask

How long is the drive from Wangsa Maju?
About 3.5 km, 10 to 15 minutes (longer between 17:30 and 19:00 on weekdays); full route in the table above.
Are weekend appointments available?
Yes, Saturday 09:30 to 18:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 16:00; weekend slots are the most asked for.
Is the clinic open on Friday?
No. The clinic is closed Friday only; open the other six days, including Saturday and Sunday.
Where can I park?
On-street along the Taman Permata shop row, and in the service lanes behind it.
How often do I attend once braces are fitted?
Roughly every 4 to 6 weeks, across a treatment period of 18 to 24 months (15 to 25 visits), all included in the RM6,000 metal braces fee.
Do braces hurt?
Teeth usually feel sore for a few days after the braces are fitted, and for a day or two after each adjustment. Soft food helps. If a wire pokes or the pain does not settle, contact the clinic rather than waiting for your next appointment.
How long is each adjustment visit?
About 20 to 30 minutes each time.
Can I walk in for a first examination?
Walk-ins are seen when there is a gap; a booked appointment is more reliable. Book: booking page, WhatsApp 012-2866 458, or call 03-4108 6005.
